Featuring pieces from OVERTIME, the FW20 collection is an ode to mid-century tailoring codes and undulating proportions, using discarded fabrics and natural fibres such as silk, wool, cotton & cashmere to create elevated pieces for the modern-day career woman. Exaggerated silhouettes play off each other but remain refined in both delicate silks and crisp, structured wools.
Built with a balance of natural fibres, functional suiting pieces, as well as end-of-line fabrics that would otherwise go into landfill, each collection harmonises Harris Tapper’s commitment to building sustainable, enduring, cherished pieces.
With a considered 360 degree approach to design, the New Zealand-based team honours the ritual of women dressing to integrate both their personal and professional lives. Each piece fuses quiet tailoring and thoughtful sophistication for a grounded signature aesthetic with an enduring perspective.
Pledging to grow their sustainability practices within the business, approximately 50% of Harris Tapper fabrics are sourced with regeneration in mind from end-of-the-line or discarded fabrics. 50% of fabrics are natural, made from wool, silk, and cotton. All branded packaging is recyclable.
The team has set goals to further their practices and ensure they are growing with sustainability at the forefront whilst offering luxurious products.
